Identifying teaching competencies for healthcare professional school

In order to develop mastery of any skill, specific targets must be identified. Identified targets allow for self, peer, and student assessment leading to growth. This presentation will suggest educator skills needed for health care educators, based on the medical school literature and the teaching and learning science literature. Participants will be encouraged to critique and contribute to the proposed educator skills.
