TILT to the left, now TILT to the right: Setting the Expectations for Class Assignments

Grading assignments can sometimes be a daunting experience, especially when you want to make sure your students know what it is you’re looking for. This session discusses the Transparency in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education project or TILT. This project can be modified or adjusted depending on your needs to best convey your class assignment expectations and promote “assignment literacy.”
- Explain the TILT 2.0 project
- Discuss class activities to engage and create clear expectations
- Describe ways to debrief after the activity
